    Description

Nylon is our strongest material for common use and considered a high quality rope. A distinct characteristic is it's high-stretch elasticity, stretching up to 40% before breaking. The high elasticity enables the rope to absorb shock loads, an ability to return to it's original length after being stretched. Nylon does not float and will absorb water but is flexible with good knot retention. This rope can be stored wet or dry and is resistant to abrasion, oils, most chemicals, rot and mildew. Additionally, nylon has a very good resistance to ultraviolet deterioration from sunlight. Suggested applications include general farm and home use, anchor and dock line marine applications and general use.
